Rāmāyaṇam
श्री राम राम रामेति रमे रामे मनोरमे। सहस्रनाम तत्तुल्यं रामनाम वरानने॥
Rāmāyaṇam can be translated as the “Sojourn of Śri Rāma”.
This is a historical text (itihāsa), something that happened and is narrated by Sage Vālmīki as it happened. This is a detailed text with 24,000 ślokas.
