About Prof. B. Mahadevan
Prof. B. Mahadevan is a polymath who has mastered Engineering, Management and Vedānta. He is a true seeker and pursues knowledge as the absolute end goal. Having published in most reputed Journals in multiple disciplines, he has dedicated his life to serving and propagating Indic Knowledge and Philosophy. Until recently he was a celebrated faculty at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB).
Practical Vedānta Saṃvāda
Practical Vedānta Saṃvāda is a Satsang under the tutelage of Prof. Sri B. Mahadevan. Started in 2009, this is an informal gathering where Prof. Mahadevan imparts the wisdom of the Śāstras and other Indic Knowledge forms to his ever-thirsty students. These energised sessions are not mere philosophical musings but provide practical ways to imbibe the rich knowledge of our ancestors into our day-to-day lives. That, he does so effortlessly and with elan is a tribute to his command over the subject. Most importantly, he lives the very disciplined life he professes. This website is a repository of all his past sessions and announcements of upcoming Satsaṅgas.

The website contains ~400+ hours of videos and numerous books and articles. These are methodically classified into various categories. At most of the pages, a summary of what to expect from each category is explained on that page. A beginner may navigate through and do a dipstick to understand their current state in the spiritual journey. One may explore and dwell deep into these based on interests, thoughts, inclinations and assimilation.
